Under Order II rule I of the Supreme Court Rules. 1978, working hours of the offices of the Supreme Court during Summer are 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.  Previously the Hon’ble Acting Chief Justice has been pleased to relax the office timing in the context of the circumstances due to spread of Corona-virus pandemic.

The Hon’ble Acting Chief Justice of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, has been pleased to order that the working hours of the offices of the Supreme Court of AJ&K shall be observed as under with effect from 11.09.2020: -

Friday: From 8:00 a.m. to   12:00 noon

Monday to Thursday & (Saturday after long vacation)  : From 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Break for Zohar prayers          From 01:05 p.m. to 01:35 p.m.

The petitions for leave to appeals shall be heard at 9:30 a.m. and appeals shall be heard at 10:00 a.m. No judicial work unless of an urgent nature, shall be admitted after 12:30 p.m.
