GROSS HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATIONS BY INDIAN FORCES IN INDIAN OCCUPIED KASHMIR, A BIG QUESTION MARK FOR THE CONSCIENTIOUS WORLD!

The senior Judge Supreme Court of AJ&K Mr. Justice Raja Saeed Akram Khan has taken oath as Acting Chief Justice of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. President Azad Kashmir Sardar Muhammad Masood Khan administered oath to him at Kashmir House in Islamabad on 26th August 2019.

The Honorable Chief Justice of Azad Jammu & Kashmir Mr Justice Ch. Muhammad Ibrahim Zia and Mr. Justice Ghulam Mustafa Mughal Hon’ble Judge Supreme Court of Azad Jammu & Kashmir at Pakistan’s 72nd Independence day function on 14th August 2019, arranged in the Supreme Court Building Muzaffarabad. Pakistani flag was hoisted by Hon’ble Chief Justice followed by salute by a contingent of AJK police. A cake was cut by the Hon’ble Chief Justice at this occasion and the Prayer was offered to remember the souls of ancestors who paid their lives during their exemplary struggle for the creation and building of Pakistan.

The Hon’ble Mr. Justice Ch. Muhammad Ibrahim Zia Chief Justice of Azad Jammu Kashmir & Mr. Justice Ghulam Mustafa Mughal while visiting Leswa in Neelum Valley which was affected by cloud burst. Chief Justice of AJ&K also met families of the Martyrs and the affectees in Leswa.

The Hon’ble Mr. Justice Ch. The first one-day judicial conference under the auspices of AJK Supreme Court was held in Muzaffarabad on Saturday 13th July 2019. It was attended by Chief Justice of Azad Kashmir Mr. Justice Ch. Tabassum Aftab Alvi, judges of high court, chairman and members AJK service tribunal, district and session judges, Qazis, chief secretary Mr. Mathar Niaz Rana, secretaries, Presidents supreme court bar, central bar, high court bar associations, President Skardu Bar Association and a large number of lawyers.

A meeting was held to take of the arrangements regarding Judicial Conference 2019 in AJK. The meeting was chaired by Hon’ble Chief Justice of AJK Mr. Justice Ch. Muhammad Ibrahim Zia and participated by Hon’ble Senior Judge Mr. Justice Raja Saeed Akram Khan, Mr Justice Ghulam Mustafa Mughal, Judge Supreme Court of AJ&K besides Mr. Mathar Niaz Rana, Chief Secretary of AJ&K and Mr. Salahuddin Khan Mehsud, Inspector General Police AJ&K on 4th July 2019.

A meeting was held under the chair of Honorable Chief Justice of Azad Jammu & Kashmir Mr. Justice Ch. Muhammad Ibrahim Zia, Mr. Justice Raja Saeed Akram Khan Senior Judge and Honorable Mr. Justice Ghulam Mustafa Mughal Judge Supreme Court of AJK regarding Automation of Supreme Court Offices at Muzaffarabad Mirpur & Rawalakot (Phase-1 & Phase-2). Director General Information Technology Board Dr. Khalid Rafique briefed the forum about the project’s progress.

Farewell party organized at Supreme Court of AJ&K Mirpur

The officers and staff of Supreme Court of AJ&K Mirpur organized a farewell for Mr. Noor Hussain on his retirement from service on Thursday, 13th June 2019. Hon’ble Additional Registrar, and other officers wished him luck for his future endeavors.
